Not applicable to mainframes, except under special arrangements.
- Permission
to use port 8004 for xml/SOAP data transfer in parallel with standard HTTP
port.
If
you are installing under IIS, our application server program requires permission
to read from and write to the HTTP server directory, as shown in the diagram
below.

The
"hyperserver" in the diagram is an internal database server for federated
queries across accessible databases, regardless of location.
Note
that database servers can be collocated and/or remote.
